Information & eGovernment Authority organizes a workshop for the Bahrain Internet Society members and guests

With firm belief in its role in developing the information and technology arena and involving the NGO’s and Private sector, the Information & eGovernment Authority recently held a workshop in cooperation with the Bahrain Internet Society (BIS) on the launch of Excellence Award 2012 to the BIS members and guests from the private sector and other Non‐Governmental Organizations (NGO’s). The workshop involved a presentation on the eGovernment Excellence Award 2012 organized for the fifth time in a row under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology.

Information & eGovernment Authority Organizes Excellence Award 2012 Workshop

Dedicated to trigger positive engagement, the Information & eGovernment Authority (eGA) recently organized a two-day workshop for employees of ministries and governmental entities on the forthcoming eGovernment Excellence Award 2012. The event, in its fifth edition, is organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology. The workshop addressed a number of significant participation elements.

The eGovernment Excellence Award 2012 is Launched.

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, the eGovernment Excellence Award 2012 is launched for the fifth time in a row. Information & eGovernment Authority CEO Mr. Mohammed Al Qaed, announced that nomination is open to all innovative participants - individuals, government and private sectors and NGO’s in the ICT field.
